Following a mid-life crisis (divorce, unemployment, death of a sibling) and inspired primarily by shows by reunited new-wave-era rockabilly band Safety Last, Dan Peterson began learning bass and playing open stages around the turn of the last decade.

 Yodel A-Go-Go was formed in 2002; the current (and best-ever!) lineup features Julia Williams (formerly of Reverse Cowgirl) on drums, and Clay Williams (Dieselfitters, Roy Hubbs) and Jennifer Markey (also a former Dieselfitter and currently leading her own band called The Tennessee Snowpants) on guitars and vocals.

 The band draws influences from rockabilly, honky-tonk country, and 50s rhythm and blues, but plays them loud and rockin’!
